One photo. Six questions.
NailChecker does not assess your nails or tell you what is causing a change. It sends your photo and answers to the clinic so your free consultation can start where you left off. Only a professional can tell what is behind a nail change.

Is my photo private?
Your photo and answers only go to Penelope Gomes Beauty, with your consultation request. You can ask for them to be deleted at any time.
Will it tell me what I have?
No. NailChecker does not assess your nail. It sends your photo and answers to the specialist, who looks at your nail in person at the free consultation.
Do I have to book?
No. Sending your photo is free and so is the consultation, with no obligation.
Before you start.
What does nail fungus look like?
Often a yellow, brown or white nail that gets thicker, crumbly at the edge, or lifts from the skin. It usually starts at the tip or side and spreads slowly, most often on the big toe. Psoriasis, injuries and ageing can look very similar, which is why a professional check matters.
Does it go away by itself?
Rarely. It tends to spread slowly to more of the nail and to other nails, so it is easier to deal with early.
How is it treated at Penelope Gomes Beauty?
At your free consultation a specialist looks at your nails and explains the options, including laser treatment, and how many sessions it usually takes.
What happens to my photo?
It is kept with your consultation request so the specialist can see it, and never used for anything else without asking you. See the Privacy policy.
